Our dog died on 16 January 2026. I didn’t know it would hurt this hard. Her name was Lucy, but we also called her:
Schnozzle, Sausage, Poodle, Poodle-Doodle, Puppy, Puppy-Doodle, Bumhole (don’t ask!), Bum-nut (ditto!), Baby Girl, Darling, Noodle, Doodle, Schnoodle doodle, Poods, Poods McNoods, Poodsy, Poodsy schnoods, Gieselbert the Great, Luce, Luce-poose, Darling daughterchen.
My goodness I miss her.
